The Oscar
Global West is reinventing an apartment building into 16 delectable modern one bedroom “boutique style” apartment extended stay suites for busy visiting executives.To complete this reinvention, this building was completely stripped down to bare studs and was jacked up to level floors. The framing was repaired. This building boasts 100 percent new electrical, plumbing, heating, as well as drywall. The Oscar was refurbished with safety in mind. Fresh make up air units were installed in every unit, including hallways. The building was brought up to modern fire code, all units are separated with 2 layers of 5/8 drywall, soundproofing, insulation and fire caulking.
This boutique style building is like nothing else in western Canada. This building features oak finishing, exclusively designed furniture and modern designer lighting. The Oscar has similarities to boutique style extended stay buildings in New York, London and Paris.
